Heidi

Heidi

Jennie Igielski
Have you ever lived with your grandpa that you barley see? In the book Heidi,

Heidi moves to her grandpa’s house in the Alps. Heidi was happy to finally get to

see her grandpa more but her grandpa wasn’t happy about anything. Even though the

grandpa isn’t happy, Heidi still loves him.

Heidi and I are a like in many ways but we are also very different. In the

book Heidi was always happy and excited to do things with her grandpa that she

doesn’t see often. Since my grandparents live in Florida I don’t see them often

and when I see them I am happy and excited too. Also, we are alike because if I

was gone away from the people I’m use to being around I would get homesick. Heidi

gets homesick and lonesome when she is at her grandpa’s house. She gets depressed

and starts sleep walking. Heidi and I are alike in many ways but we are also very

different.

I am different compared to Heidi in many ways. The first big thing is that

Heidi is an orphan. I feel bad for people that are orphans because they do not get

the same lives that people that aren’t orphans do always. It would be different if

you were an orphan and not living with your real parents. Heidi and I are also

very different in age. It doesn’t really matter the age of somebody if they are a

good friend because even thought Heidi is five, I think she has a really good heart.

The book Heidi is very interesting and fun. It was one of the best books I

have ever read because I think it had a good meaning to it and people would real

enjoy to read this book. Heidi seems like she would be a girl that is tough and

brave. Bravery is something that most people think and say they have but they

really don’t.
